Alpha Chi Omega is a national women's organization that enriches the lives of members through lifetime opportunities for friendship, leadership, learning and service.
Local chapters provide programming that reinforces each of the four tenets in the following manner:
Friendship: To develop and sustain relationships that are mutually enriching and to enable our members to stay connected to each other and to the Fraternity.
Leadership: To discover and enhance women's leadership potential in all settings and ages.
Learning: To foster a desire for lifelong learning.
Service: To cultivate a spirit of service with particular support for the victims of domestic violence.
Our governing documents, as well as our Ritual, provide three guiding principles in the life of an Alpha Chi Omega woman. The pursuit of Wisdom, the practice of Devotion and the exercise of Achievement are the foundations for a new Four-Year Experience member education curriculum that will begin rolling out this fall. The UNC Epsilon Chi Chapter is proud to have been chosen as one of eleven chapters in this pilot, and we're sure that our new members and our juniors, the two academic classes targeted, will find the experience worthwhile.
